evil scheming manipulative
well ok. not so much evil since really i'm working to benefit the good of all. i just called a certain someone named shalyce. yes. at the goldenvoice headquarters to ask about getting a booth at coachella. how much it would cost, if vendors got in free, and if they did...how many could get in free. =) brilliant. it's very possible depending on cost of booth that we could all pretend to be working for stylus clothing and spend a couple of hours manning the booth in order to pay a seriously discounted entry fee. ie, stylus dj wear is broke so they can't pay for booth rental. but if we all split the cost and got in free i bet we could pay less than $140 for tickets! and all we'd have to do in exchange would be to sell some shirts. we could do that! i had to leave a message because she wasn't there but maybe i will hear back soon. i'll keep you posted, loyal coachella fans.

OMG Michele, you are a fucking GENIUS. That is perhaps the most brilliant, most perfectly devious plan I’ve ever been privy too. Honestly.
And, I have to say that selling Stylus stuff would be badass. I used to sell shit in booths at Festivals all of the time in high school. It’s not a bad gig. Especially because the booth could be like our group headquarters. And we would have a central location to check in with each other and shit. The plan sounds H O T if you ask me. =)

ha ha. no. i think it will be way more than 140 total to rent a booth for 2 days. which is why i am skeptical of this plan working. it’s got to be 200-500 per day i would think. now if it’s 200, 400 total divided by however many people are going that ain’t bad. but 1000 is a little stretching of it. except let’s see who would pay? me, kristen, jacob, erica, jolie, nuala, adam, bobbie? and that’s 8, so 1000 divided by 8 is? 125. which is at least cheaper than 140 but not by much. but then there’s the maybe camp of attendees: marina, emily, sumit, and any one else who might come with my brother. which would potentially make it worthwhile. we will just have to wait and see when and if this shalyce person ever calls back. i’ll try calling again today.
