these things really have nothing to do with each other
yesterday i had a 12 hour date. and realized what a huge nerd i really, really am. due to many factors, which include: the large number of bad movies i've seen, my reading tastes of terry pratchett, and my tendency to play a game where the currency is meat. but also i realized that boy nerds like girl nerds. so that's ok.
there's a boy living in my room. his name is jeff. supposedly it's only for 3 weeks. my rapidly beating heart screams that even 3 minutes is too long for a boy to be squatting in my room in close proximity to old writings and potential secrets. but today he installed a door knob in the garage door and my mother vocally fantasized about all the other things he might fix before he leaves. i think she's enjoying the whole indentured servant thing.
lindsay came to visit recently (friend from college in washington). and we went out to dinner in jack london square. i did what i always do. viciously snap pictures when people weren't looking. sadly this always seems to amount to a lot of pictures of people's rear ends.
