I’m going to have to pass cause I don’t have a costume and it looks scary. Do you guys have costumes?

we were just going to wear black and put dark goreyian circles under our eyes with eyeshadow. or anyway i was.

Shoddy costuming! Is this what we’re coming to these days?
I’d be horribly tempted to go if it were really an elaborate Edwardian dress ball. As it is, I suspect I’ll pass. Jacob seemed interested, though.

it’s funny how i tried to downplay the costuming to make gene go and immediately tried to upplay it to make you go.

gene, you can go in normal clothes if you buy a ticket in advance. the tickets are $12 in advance which is the same amount that they are if you show up in fancy dress at the door. (if you show up without a ticket in normal dress then it’s $15.) so dress however you like as long as you buy a ticket thru the website.
dianna, some of the people in the pictures certainly seem to consider it an elaborate edwardian dress ball. you should re-look and change your mind. also, i think there’s a puppet show. who wants to miss a gorey puppet show? not me. and i’m going to try to wear edwardian things.

But there’s DJs. And you all are cheating with the black and the eyeshadow circles and the lack of mutton sleeves (isn’t that what those are called?) and coattails. Your upplaying is failing, missy.
