kim's bundle of joy named spanky
kim got a kitten! a two year old, malnourished, big-footed kitten. who looks a bit like punk. hopefully not as punkish though.
i want a kitten. i want an ocelot!

totally cute. however totally a failure in the quest for manic photographer applicants. kim only sent me TWO pictures of her newest family addition. that is a disgrace. do you hear me kim? a disgrace.
of course, dianna. once i save up the $200-1000 to get one. but seriously, who wouldn’t want some thing this adorable.

kimberly, you need to live up to your photo taking responsibilities. also, what is the name of this fetching creature? you’re not sticking with spanky are you? because you know what my votes are.

giggle. i think that one’s actually a baby bengal. you can get savannah cats too. they’re more all over brown like…mountain lions. i like the bengals and ocelots better. i’ve been keeping an eye on the breeder websites for like the past 4 years. every so often i contemplate putting my name on a wait list. but, i just can’t have a medium dog-sized cat with the ability to jump seven feet straight up from a sitting position right now.

Seriously, the poor thing would hit its head on your ceiling.
I want a puppy, but a kitten would do for now. (Expect the little cat to be shunned as soon as the first puppy rolls along, though.)

If anyone has a better name than Spanky, please speak up. So far, I have discovered that the kitty loves popcorn and sleeping on my head, like a furry kitty hat. And he kneads his claws constantly.
Don’t worry, there will be more pictures.

does he meow a lot? you could call him orpheus. once and for all, it’s orpheus when there’s singing.

i like the name orpheus. i am pro. we can call you eurydice. what for short though? orphy? (like orphan!) and .…dicey? euro-trash? urkutsk?

In case anyone missed this followup: Kim has named him Niles, a reference to the Egyptian-style eye markings.
