one of the most delightful things about nuala, not that she doesn't have many, is her height. while standing in line to board the plane at LAX to auckland, NZ, giggling somewhat hysterically at the bodybuilder in the other line, i looked directly into her eyes--simply because i could. i have been overpowered in recent months by all the girls i see in san francisco. this means you kristen, christine, and dianna. i don't like you so much now that i have nuala and we can be on equal footing.

well hey, there is nothing that takes the sting out of your two girlfriends (who heretofore have always operated with you as a threesome) travelling off to foreign parts without you like being told that you are now actively disliked.

dood! the bookstore has TWO previously unheard of (by me) margaret mahy books! if only i had my wallet i could buy them!!!

so i’m not as tall as any of the SF crew, but taller than you and you’ve only gone overseas with me once, so i’m not really sure how i rank anymore. i’m guessing worse than nuala, but better than kristen, dianna, and christine (losers).
and in other travel related news, i may have won a vacation to cabo san lucas from one of those silly mall entry thingies. i’ll let you know for sure after i pick up my prize on saturday.

yes, marina, you are taller than me. but you are not being ranked because you are not a frequent visitor to my eyeballs and maligned shortness (both of height and breath. i don’t have pnemonia.) not that anyone is being ranked. all i was saying is that it’s nice to be around someone my own height instead of you gangling freaks.
