my saturday
it's possible that if you spent 8 solid hours checking in library materials, you too would rent barbie as the princess and the pauper.

i couldn't find something BETTER to borrow? seriously, i must have checked in at least 200 videos today.

So, is Barbie the princess, and some near-identical doll is the pauper? Is this a cartoon? Does someone learn a lesson about class difference between toys?
I’d mock your video rental, except I really loved She’s the Man, and am now doubting my ability to judge/hate films.

it is a cartoon where barbie plays both the princess and the pauper—but with a brown dye on her hair in the latter.
they do learn valuable lessons about class differences and ALSO cat orientation issues (one cat is a princess cat and one is a scruffy “doggish cat” who barks instead of meows).
i…kind of enjoyed it. even the singing. i’m importing the CD into iTunes right now.
now that you’ve seen she’s the man you’re really going to have to see step up and know from first hand viewing experience that not only can duke orsino not act but he can’t dance either.

judging from the cover it looks more like “the princess and the…other princess.”
i always loved barbies, to the horror of my feminist mother. even as I love disney princesses. even as I am sitting here in flannel pants covered with a print of disney princesses.
see, everyone gets to be ashamed today.

hello, do the words “spoiler alert” mean anything to you? I suppose they all live happily ever after, too, don’t they. no, go ahead and tell me. you might as well. sheesh.

before she marries him though, you think for a bit she’s not going to because she goes off to fulfill her dream of singing in opera houses around the world. hello, LAME.

seriously. what is an artistic career in the face of being a wife? i’m glad that barbie got her priorities straightened out.

i’m totally renting the ones where she plays rapunzel, odette, the nutcracker girl, and a mermaid. man, i am addicted to this like i was addicted to mary kate and ashley olsen movies. i’m sick, i tell you.

omg, I totally loved that one barbie movie about the lives of mary kate and ashley olsen, where the twins are played by barbies.

Mary Kate would have to play the princess, because Ashley is pure trash. World-traveling, opera-singing, neighboring-king-marrying trash.
