bye bye indian corn
yesterday i went swimming in kristen's pool with the coolest longest hair ever. it was all swirly like a mermaid's.
but tonight i accepted the fact that the braids were no longer fun. they were just heavy, itchy, and scalp-pulling. so i have spent the last 8 hours taking them out. a full two hours longer than it took to put them in. i kind of miss them already. but this crinkly short hair i have now is fascinating on its own too.
i'm not quite sure if something that only lasted a month was worth $200. who am i kidding? that hair was the shit. totally worth $200.
i did some fashion posing sans fancy car upholstery hair.
ok. the washing and brushing of the hair took another 2 fucking hours and i think i have lost about half my hair. i'm practically bald now! (not really though. don't take me literally. i'm not bald.)

oh, wow…you are so beautiful. apparently, if you want a good picture taken, you’ll have to do it yourself. i love the wild crazy hair, i think you should somehow keep that permanently.

i agree! keep the wild, crazy hair.
and yes, corn is worth the money and effort. i got em last year and totally loved it, though it took 3 hrs to take out and i lost about half my hair.

i love the crinkly hair. although when i took mine out, i chose to brush it all out and floof it to its maximum possible volume. it was great. jacob took pictures, but since i was wearing a towel i refused to let him post them here.

it hurt much less than what i did last time, which was to hop in the shower without removing two months’ worth of unattached hair from my head. it took me an hour and a half and half a bottle of conditioner to get the tangles out. it SUCKED. the brushing, on the other hand, was totally fine. start at the bottom and the hairbrush is your friend.
