That really was a fantastically stylish haircut on Gene right there.
I will be posting a picture of the bruise on my knee from the bottom of the pool once the color is fully developed. It’s kind of like a Polaroid bruise — so far the outline is all there but the details are a little washed out. It’s got impressive coverage, though.

Well, you could link to a more recent picture if you wanted. I found some from that pool party I ditched, but he’s either soaking wet or wearing a baseball cap in every one of them. And since I’m pretty sure I’ve only met the man that once, I’m sticking with my own dry and unhatted observations.

That picture of Jacob with his puppet is the best picture I have ever seen in my life. And I own every National Geographic magazine through 1962.
