That really was a fantastically stylish haircut on Gene right there.
I will be posting a picture of the bruise on my knee from the bottom of the pool once the color is fully developed. It’s kind of like a Polaroid bruise — so far the outline is all there but the details are a little washed out. It’s got impressive coverage, though.
Well, you could link to a more recent picture if you wanted. I found some from that pool party I ditched, but he’s either soaking wet or wearing a baseball cap in every one of them. And since I’m pretty sure I’ve only met the man that once, I’m sticking with my own dry and unhatted observations.

does it look a little like ian’s haircut to anyone else?
I don’t know. Does it?
Only a little, I think. There’s more general slicked-down-ness and less general sticky-out-ness.
but that’s a year old picture of ian.
eh, you’re still right.

i looked at those photos too and came to the same roadblock, which is why i didn’t link to them.
Ha. Anyway, they’re nowhere as good as the surly face and pirate puppet picture. Generally speaking, that was a fantastic set of pictures.
That picture of Jacob with his puppet is the best picture I have ever seen in my life. And I own every National Geographic magazine through 1962.
Which one? Cow Mouth, or Cthulhu?
Cow mouth. Cow mouth by faaaar.
