this morning i spent some time scanning and uploading various photos from the past like 2 months. so we gots some halloween, some musical filming, some pregnant ellie, some cirque du soleil, a little bit of nuala’s birthday thrown in for good measure, and some random christmas cards.
let me walk you thru them.
first off, ellie. she’s been pregnant. kristen asked for a picture and i took one about 2 months ago. she is so much more pregnant now, but that is besides the point.
she’s so cute! and she hates having her picture taken, so this means she really must like you kristen, to let me take her picture for you to see. or at least it means she likes me. she wants to see return of the king again too, maybe we should all see it together and then you could see her in super preggers mode with your own two eyeballs.
next up we have halloween. we already had gene’s pictures of the self-same event, but i have a couple more. =)
i like the one of erica by herself best. something about the hair and the shorts and the socks, really it was just great. kind of mesmerizing.
nuala’s birthday! this was so long ago and she’s so much older now! kim recently gave me some pictures she had taken and then kristen berated me publicly (comment #2) for like three weeks demanding to know when i was going to scan the pictures and put them up for her enjoyment.
nuala is such a cutie. and that trip was hella fun with all the eating and sunbathing, mmm, let’s go back!
musical filming which is not yet complete, but the vast majority of which has been chronicled in these whole whopping three pictures i took. (didn’t anyone else take any pictures?) one of them i got in trouble for because the clicking of the camera got picked up by the boom mike.
le sigh. musical peeps, watch out! jason is planning a film party where people other than us will see this horrific excuse for a singing extravaganza! plus, he’s going to get peed on. (jason: i’m so excited about that! i’m sorry i had to hang up on you yesterday.)
cirque du soleil’s last night in town was spent by me and everybody else in hard hats running around tearing shit apart, packing, and injuring ourselves. cort was bleeding profusely from a finger and i pulled a ligament in my knee and spent all of christmas in oregon laid up pretty much. but it was great! i was there from 11am-11:30pm and i didn’t want to leave. it was kind of sad to have to give up the whole circus experience. and now i once again don’t have a job but i have like 3 pictures and that’s just going to have to do me. it’s pathetic, because like 3 or 4 pictures of me in a hard hat were taken, but none of them came out. and at least one of them had a flash, so i’m confused about what happened. whatever.
lastly, we have the “christmas cards which come in the mail with pictures of children you’ve never seen before in your life on them” segment of this post. we returned home from oregon last night and going thru all the mail we discovered these two (two) xmas cards which violent goobers on them. (note: goobers means kids. i called the kids in oregon ‘goobers’ all week-long.) i personally am fascinated by these cards in all their similarities. it’s like the civil war movie ads: ‘the war which pitted brother (sister) against brother (sister)! north against south! poop against pee! large, red, bulbous noses against the classic grecian profile! the humanity! the idiocy! the hirsute-ness of it all! lordy, lordy save us!’
