Bring on the Needles.
As some of you know, I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now, and now that I have this handy dandy comments feature I am going to canvas for opinions on what I should get. Yes, even YOU, get a chance to weigh in with your two cents. FYI, I want a word that is two characters long so that I can get one character tattooed on each wrist on the outer edge (underneath the pinkie). And I will be getting it done in black, cause color fades and screw that shit. See below for links to what the various words look like in Japanese. And have a nice day.

Note: Of course I might find some other one I want to do, and you should feel free to offer suggestions too. And ummmm yeah….. ok then. 
I’m very much in favor of the tatto on general principle. But the site where the characters are doesn’t seem to want to show them to me. I guess I’ll have to wait until I make my vote.
how about the Japanese characters for either:
1. Japanese Character
2. English Letters
or
3. Tattoo
I also couldn’t get at those pages you linked to, but maybe (if you decide not to go with my “tattoo a joke on yourself” suggestion) you could make the characters out of pictures, like vines or something? or, I dunno, little sullen japanese people being bent into awkward positions to form the letters…?
or maybe i could just stick with simple japanese characters….
the pages take a really long time to load. i got it to work on nuala’s computer so i know it DOES work. maybe you just need to give it a bit more time?
the “tattoo” one is actually not a bad idea kristen. grin. maybe i will have to go check out what that looks like.
the “tattoo” one is not half bad. it combines the words “indian ink” and “pricking/sticking”. i’m really kind of fond.
All I know is you have to go to my guy. And don’t get something unless you want it for life.
