coachella time! time to begin the rabid obsession which is me.
the concert is may 1st and 2nd.
so far confirmed that i have read about on the webpage are: (drum roll) the cure, radiohead, and the pixies. jacob, tell me you are soooo going.
there should be more info soon. but if those three are true, then holy shit, who needs more info?
just went to the cure webpage to confirm and it says kraftwerk and the flaming lips! flaming! i am so there!!
hey! those bands don’t suck. i like those bands! what the hell? could it be coachella does not plan to rape my dreams this year with substandard and occasionally hostile acts cough badly drawn boy cough?

oh jacob you’re so behind the times, the talk of a serious pixies reunion has been in the works since the winter at least… they just set up dates i guess. hopefully they’ll swing thru here so i can get my fill.
note #2: Badly Drawn Boy was a massive disappointment for me too! ask jacob about it, it’s still the only concert i’ve walked out on before it was even halfway through. BLEGH, he sucked. but i got the tickets for free so i couldn’t get too belligerent. oh, i remember this awful rendition of the only song i actually knew. he utterly butchered it while trying to shoot “sex-me” eyes at specific audience members, while pointing slowly and ‘seductively’ (i use the term loosely) at them … what a freak. meh i’m getting riled up remembering it!!

yeah, it’s a pixies reunion just for YOU, jacob. i was convinced coachella would suck this year and i would not go, but now i am totally going because this is too sweet to miss.
susan, i’m sorry it sucked. we kind of stood off to the side of the stage so i didn’t notice him trying to look sexy at people. but all his songs sound the same anyway. heh. a few rotton apples can be scoffed at in the greater glory which is the good coachella bands. you should come, susan! get a group together and road trip on down. it’s so fun and sunny and beautiful in so cal in may.
ok, i now have reserved one hotel room which can fit 4 comfortably or 5 if someone sleeps on the floor. there was nothing left available in indio already so it’s in cathedral city which is a good 15 miles from coachella. i am pissed by this and at myself for not reserving a room earlier. blast. anyway, so if you are thinking you might want to go, lemme know. if we need to reserve another hotel room we should do so hella fast. so far i think going is me, kristen, and jacob (?). =) kati vol, jenny, marina, and nuala this means you too so-cal people! you wanna come and join us?

hmm, i think i will reserve another room just in case. if we don’t end up needing it i can always cancel it the day before we’d be arriving without penalty anyway.

already the double bed rooms at the same hotel were sold out! i got a king size bed room which really prob 3 people could sleep on and one on the floor. or two on the floor. or whatever. maybe we won’t even need it as last year everyone said they would come and then it ended up being only 5 people again. not that i doubt your guy’s sincerity…
My guy’s sincerity is beyond reproach. He’s the most sincere guy there is.
